'Hope for Tomorrow' Spencer Signs Nominated 2012 Charity

Spencer Signs are proud to announce that 'Hope for Tomorrow' is our nominated charity for 2012.

Hope for Tomorrow is a national charity dedicated to bringing cancer treatments closer to rural areas. There are currently two units in operation, one in Gloucestershire and one in Somerset. The Gloucestershire unit, launched in 2007, has already given more than 4,500 chemotherapy treatments and saved patients - and their carers’ - travelling in excess of 130,000 miles. The charity hopes that the Wiltshire MCU, which was launched in May, will bring similar relief to patients in that area. It has just been announced that the fourth unit will be allocated to NHS Hampshire later on this year, which is fantastic news. Although the project is based initially in the south west, Hope for Tomorrow aim to roll this project out across the rest of the UK.
